Art in all of its forms, is what intrinsically make us human and sets us apart from other living things on Earth, and this project will explore how our senses perceive these creative forces and in turn, how these creations can affect how we perceive our surroundings. Having degrees in both music and industrial engineering he has always strived to find a balance between the arts and the sciences. Currently Jeff is the owner of Chicago Strings violin shop in Evanston and is a dealer in fine instruments and helps professional musicians with his expertise.

ABOUT

Each artist will represent one sense, and two or more senses will be combined in each installation and often isolated from the remaining senses. In The Realm of Senses is an experiential art project that is a symbiosis of all forms of art, condensed into a unique combination that stimulates all of our five senses. Jeff was a member for the band Mannheim Steamroller and Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues for over ten years and homepage has served as concertmaster for New Millennium Orchestra in Chicago, Emerald City Orchestra in Seattle, Spoleto Festival in Italy and National Repertory Orchestra in Colorado. The art created together will be great than the sum of their parts. The artists in this project are some of the most talented and evocative from all over the world, in the fields of visual art, music, dance, theater, poetry, culinary arts, scent designers, and architects. Jeff is a violinist born in Taiwan originally from Seattle who came to Chicago to study music at Northwestern and DePaul.
